Igni Ferroque (Tennebrose #2) By Ashlyn Drewek

Igni Ferroque (Tennebrose #2) By Ashlyn Drewek Paperback 1955211175 9781955211178 Romance Igni Ferroque (Tennebrose #2) Despite being branded as an outcast amongst outcasts, Phelan Oliver devotes his life to helping his fellow Necromancers. But even with his vast knowledge, nothing prepares him for the day he comes face to face with a demon he didn’t summon—one who embodies everything he has been taught to hate, whose wickedness sparks sinful feelings Phelan can’t ignore no matter how much he tries. Taken captive by a prince of Hell, Phelan strikes a desperate bargain. In exchange for his soul’s freedom, he’ll give his captor what he wants, even if it means betraying his own family. But demons aren’t the only ones with secrets and Phelan’s might end up costing them both than they’d ever imagined.  IGNI FERROQUE is a dark MM paranormal romance about a pious Necromancer and an incorrigible demon and what happens when their paths intersect. There’s scorching steam and brutal violence in this enemies to lovers tale, wrapped up with plenty of intrigue and betrayal. It is intended for a mature audience and reader discretion is advised. A full list of triggers can be found in the front matter of the book and at my website under Tropes Triggers.  This book can be read as a standalone, but it is highly suggested to read the series in order, as the history of Winslow and its witches builds on itself with each book.

Igni Ferroque suspense definition

The sex scenes filled with such primal lust and as filthy and depraved and possessive as I had hoped it would be fans self Everything about us was wrong and that s what made it so unexpectedly right When I had the misfortune to read a sentence that began with Sure I braced myself for a spiral of bad writing but my word The prose was gorgeous so very captivating the constant push and pull between Phelan s unwavering loyalty and conviction to his religious faith countering Remiel s dismissive and persuasive tone of challenging his own beliefs was so well balanced And it wasn t just about the couple s relationship There was an actual mystery involved that these two had to unwittingly work together to solve was the most compelling element for me So many twists and turns.

EBook Igni ferroquest fq7101 Damn Ashlyn Drewek Igni Ferroque may be your finest work yet and that s saying something this book is totally divine Whilst Igni Ferroque isn t a follow up to Malum Discordiae per se I would strongly recommend that you read Malum first because Igni is set in the same world and gives the reader an amazing introduction to the Tennebrose universe You will also meet some of the characters from Malum in Igni Igni Ferroque is Phelan and Remiel s story and it s a dark MM paranormal read Phelan is a Necromancer dedicated to the old ways completely focused on mastering demonic magic despite being frowned upon and rejected by most of the witches and necromancers in his community He bounces from one crisis to another He has kept himself pure and dedicated to the cause but you get the feeling from the start that there is something to Phelan something waiting to be unleashed both at the physical and the supernatural level He was vile and malicious And every time he put his hands on me my heart spasmed in my chest. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Remiel is a demon a prince of Hell hugely powerful practically omnipotent manipulative sexual totally immoral and ancient beyond imagining There isn t much that interests or excites Remiel any not even the war brewing in the underworld Until he comes across Phelan Something about the mild necromancer ignites him on every level and the results are nothing short of explosive A dark smile curled my lips He was utterly beautiful in his sorrow But in his quiet seething rage He was absolutely divine. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Ashlyn Drewek tells us it straight off the bat this is not a tale of redemption Igni Ferroque is set in a dark paranormal world of demons and witches and necromancers There is no place for human morality The author has made the warnings very clear for us Igni Ferroque contains non con dub con kidnapping torture bloodplay the list goes on so do be warned Nothing is romanticised it s real and raw and confronting and MAGNIFICENT The research that Ashlyn Drewek clearly puts into her books is beyond compare You literally feel as though you are living and breathing Tennebrose The world building is exceptional and these characters are sublime Remiel is so divinely evil such a guilty pleasure I just want to inhale him and swallow him down like a fine wine Pun intended Phelan s character ark is inspired that boy is nothing short of a phenomenan I couldn t love their f cked up relationship He was a paradox as always My tormentor and my salvation who made sinning feeling like a dream. Igni Ferroque kindle reader I honestly cannot say enough good things about Igni Ferroque You NEED to read this if you love MM dark romance Dark paranormal Enemies to lovers Non con Dub con Forbidden Demonic mythology Torture blood play Red hot steam Amazing world building and storylineIgni Ferroque is a five star read for me and is out now 1955211175 it s probably the sleep deprivation that s making me feel this way but that was so much fun Gold star to Ashlyn Drewek 1955211175 5 Stars For An Amazing Second Installment First off heed the warnings going into this There is non con between the MC s at first And it s a little dubious for a bit afterward as well If the non con is a hard limit this isn t the book for you. Igni Ferroque kindle reader Also I tagged major character death but do not worry it is very temporary But it does happen Again heed the TW s the author gives in the summary and beginning of this book Phelan and Remiel are a force of nature together and apart They have a wildly different dynamic than the first couple even though they two were enemies to lovers it s just done in such a different way This story takes place in the same town as the first has all the same supernatural elements and all that and yet this felt like a completely new fresh story holding up on it s own in its own right. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Honestly you could read this is a standalone There are some broader world building that you would need the first book for but the main plot is different and the characters of the first book are background characters in this I think you could catch up pretty quick while reading this although it the first book is really good too so I recommend reading them in order But if you didn t want to I think this can be read on its own. Igni Ferroque kindle reader He s also a Necromancer who can walk in the dreamworld as well as summon demons to earth for the Congregation to then kill Which they ve been doing for the past year Remiel is a very big deal in Hell He s a prince of Hell and is very very powerful He s also at war with his brother and the demons the Congregation have been killing have all suspiciously been coming from Remiel s realm of hell which means they re his demons and no other prince s of Hell are having their demon s killed Or the King of Hell himself Beliar And when a duke of Hell was just recently killed by the Congregation Remiel is at the place is happened with a general of his when Phelan comes back to the place it happened and although he can t see the demons Remiel can see him. Book Igni ferroquelatasa He shows himself looking human to Phelan once and the chemistry is palpable although Phelan doesn t let himself register that as he has been celibate all his life and is determined to never be with anyone He s practically a priest without being a priest. Book Igni ferroquelatasa But with what happened with his mother who seemed to go crazy and almost killed him when he was a baby Phelan will do anything and everything he can to try not to end up like her When one evening when the congregation has met again to try to kill another demon things go awry and Remiel is there and he finally takes Phelan to the underworld to be his prisoner Partly because Remiel wants him for himself and he s a demon prince so he ll take what he wants but also he thinks the Congregation is working for his enemy Hazael who has been trying to take over his realm and he wants to get as much information out of Phelan as he can These two do not start out in love that s for sure While Remiel wants Phelan in a lustful way it s nothing than that at first and he sees him as a pet Literally calls him that too He is a demon prince after all But as events unfold there are crazy twists and turns as truths come to light that have been long buried And together Remiel and Phelan are fiery and passionate and strong willed as well as prideful Their chemistry was so good and I absolutely loved all their interactions. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Phelan resists for some time but he eventually gives into the feelings he has for Remiel I also absolutely love that trope where one is supposedly evil and Remiel is bad but idk if I d say he s 100% evil and they ll kill anyone but the one they re in love with Plus Remiel is highly possessive and I absolutely love it. Igni Ferroque kindle reader He ll cut anyone who dares touch his Phelan Or looks at him the wrong way And by the end they literally get to spend eternity together sniping at each other and probably having passionate fights but at the end of the day they love each other and they re it for each other forever I do wish a teensy tiny bit that Remiel had said I love you back to Phelan by the end butttt I kind of get why he might not have Plus we get to see just how much he loves Phelan in his actions so I wasn t too bummed about it I m just greedy for that verbal saying of i love you I guess. Igni Ferroque kindle reader But this was justperfection I absolutely loved this it had my attention from the start and I was enraptured as I read start to to finish Definitely highly recommend this I couldn t get enough of it Now I have no idea who the next book could be about if we are going to get a next one I have no idea but whoever it may be if we get one I can t wait This series is just so amazing Two MASSIVE thumbs up from me My Ratings for the Tennebrose Series Malum Discordiae 5 stars my review Igni Ferroque 5 Stars 1955211175 5 stars One of these days demon I ll kill you for this I love the way you lie to me Amazing dark paranormal romance. Igni Ferroque book Loved the possessive vibes the characters the tension the world building I can t think of one thing I didn t thoroughly enjoy about this book The plot flowed very nicely and I definitely did not want to put this down Ashlyn Drewek really knows how to keep the reader on the edge of their seats and rooting for these morally grey characters My tormentor and my salvation who made sinning feel like a dream CW and tropes spoilers Demon vs Necromancer Enemies to lovers Dark academia vibes Dub con Virgin MC Vers MCs Intercrural I had nowhere else to go trope POV 1st person dual 1955211175 Igni Ferroque is one of the best dark romances I have ever read Phelan and Remiel are amazingly dynamic characters and even fascinating together due to their vast differences Phelan is a shy librarian necromancer who is used to living his life by following the rules and remaining devoted to his faith Remiel is the exact opposite in personality and belief due to his demonic nature where he operates purely on instinct Together they are quite a fiery pair due to their intense personality clashes and belief system which is why they are perfect complements to one another One of my favorite aspects of this story is the relentless pursuit of Phelan on Remiel s part He does not believe in the word no and consent is a silly concept to him making for such intense push pull scenes with Phelan Another fantastic element of this story is Phelan s character arc His character growth is one of the best I have ever read How he accepts his role in this paranormal world is so fascinating and well constructed I was in awe at its conclusion Another winning aspect of this story is its fantastically morally grey romance This relationship is possessive violent and unhealthy at times while also having intense devotion affection and passion Phelan and Remiel are complicated characters and it seems fitting that their romance would be just as unconventional Overall I am in awe of this story and when I initially finished it I was a bit speechless I found it masterfully written that gives you a well earned HEA in the darkest possible way Another winning entry in this addicting Tennebrose universe I love every aspect of this universe and cannot wait to see what comes next I reviewed a complimentary copy of this story 1955211175 Despite being branded as an outcast amongst outcasts Phelan Oliver devotes his life to helping his fellow Necromancers But even with his vast knowledge nothing prepares him for the day he comes face to face with a demon he didn t summon one who embodies everything he has been taught to hate whose wickedness sparks sinful feelings Phelan can t ignore no matter how much he tries Taken captive by a prince of Hell Phelan strikes a desperate bargain In exchange for his soul s freedom he ll give his captor what he wants even if it means betraying his own family But demons aren t the only ones with secrets and Phelan s might end up costing them both than they d ever imagined IGNI FERROQUE is a dark MM paranormal romance about a pious Necromancer and an incorrigible demon and what happens when their paths intersect There s scorching steam and brutal violence in this enemies to lovers tale wrapped up with plenty of intrigue and betrayal It is intended for a mature audience and reader discretion is advised A full list of triggers can be found in the front matter of the book and at my website under Tropes Triggers This book can be read as a standalone but it is highly suggested to read the series in order as the history of Winslow and its witches builds on itself with each book Igni Ferroque Tennebrose 2 4. Igni Ferroque suspense definition 75 starsSo vastly different from Malum but just as freaking fantastic First one to claim a spot on my favorites shelf this year It was easy to forget he was a prince of Hell when he looked like an angel beautiful and terrifying all at once. EBook Igni ferroquest fq7101 Gawd I think I m obsessed with paranormal creatures that have FEATHERED WINGS And as a demon prince a fallen angel Remiel had some glowing white with deep black tips swoon Gradually he stood straighter dragging me upright with his arms and wings locked around me his cheek resting against my temple. Igni Ferroque suspense definition Phelan is a Necromancer a dream weaver deeply devoted to God and there is nothing really outstanding about him Until there is When Remiel kidnaps him he sees something powerful hidden deep inside him And you as a reader follow their journey with bated breath to find out what it is Phelan s character arc is immense and well written As is the demon s who claimed him Do you miss it I asked quietly Being an angel I nodded No Their romance is definitely a slow burn but it burned hot as hellfire The non con and torture during the first part of the book was at times hard to read but it also made the dynamic between Remiel and Phelan believable and the whole story deliciously dark At first I was disappointed that there was little to nothing about Cassius and Graeme in this book I would ve loved to see of them but in the greater scheme of things it was probably better not to drag them into this whole mess. Igni Ferroque pdf converter And man this book was even jaw dropping than Malum So many twists and turns so many secrets and revelations betrayal and unexpected alliances Holy moly If Ashley continues like that this is bound to be a remarkable and must read series for everyone who loves a dark romance in a world like that Please heed TWs This book may not be for everyone Tennebrose SeriesBook 1 Malum Discordiae 4. Igni Ferroque booklet 75 stars 1955211175 5 stars Ubi amor ibi dolor Where there s love there s painThis Latin translation in the provided glossary at the start of Igni Ferroque was the one that hit me the hardest first And as the story progressed that moment when it was brought forth into the storyline was such an incredible moment that I knew then and there that there would be no way that this story could have a ranking any lesser than a five star Fair warning this review is going to have heaps of quotes because the writing was absolutely divine and plenty of fangirling because this couple was a match made in Hell How relaxed but wound up in another way a way that only he was able to make happen He was a paradox as always My tormentor and my salvation who made sinning feel like a dream I absolutely LOVED reading this the writing was absolutely sublime the world building absolutely fantastic with pacing that was so very well written that it kept you going with every second And uff full of so many surprises shedding light into Phelan s back story his very purpose of existing why Remiel was so very captivated by him it just compelled me to NOT stop reading till the end The moment my lips touched his he ravaged my mouth with his tongue as hard and fast as I thrust into him This is what we truly were not simply demons but hellfire and preternatural lust coming together in an explosion of sin and I relished it I relished him The characters holy hell the characters Phelan the quiet Necromancer librarian outcast of his congregation and overshadowed with the burden of his mentally ill mother catches the attention of the Remiel Prince of Hell possessive demonic utterly obsessive of his desire to keep Phelan only by his side Their relationship was so chaotic so toxic absolutely sinful but it just worked so well for them He was at war with himself his piety clashing with a primal need he didn t yet understand The realization filled me to the brim with excitement I d be his first. Book Igni ferroquelatasa His last His everything He was mine completely How Remiel kept Phelan captive for a day in his castle in Hell how he fought and resisted the lust he was feeling for this demon was so well described so very visceral You could feel the desperation and absolute wretched guilt he had for submitting himself to these unwanted feelings yet a part of him craved it so badly and he could not understand why And their chemistry was off the charts H O T scorching flaming desire of fire Remiel s level of owning Phelan was borderline psychotic and obsessive but it s a funny thing A Necromancer was just the thing I didn t know I needed until I set my sights on him Remiel may have been the worst kind in existence but he was so twistedly genuine in his craving for him his toxic desire to have Phelan all to himself Look at him and you re dead touch him and you ll cease to exist And even when he taunted him with I didn t think you could taste any better lover but you proved me wrong Wickedness suits you to So perfect pet You feel so good when you re being so bad That when he fell in love when he had to give up all else to protect Phelan to keep him safe from the harm of the demons of Hell that sought to claim him his final thoughts were Still as I was swept away from the battlefield to my own personal prison in the deepest pits of Hell I could hear Phelan s voice over my own tormented screams Maybe that was as close to Heaven as I d ever be again. Book Igni ferroquelatasa To have been loved by him against all odds And Phelan dear precious Phelan who only just wanted to do his job the right way for people to just let him be who he is and not see him in family name only To be at the mercy of a demon to have him bring out these primal sinful urges that he could have never possibly fathomed ones he s resisted for so long The struggle was so very believable how much he fought and resisted his charms hoping against hope that he wouldn t be drawn to the heat of his passion to somehow find a way to rise above it My heart just broke for him for his journey for his eventual acceptance of who he truly was honestly that suspenseful build up to his past was chef s kiss for his struggle to find a way to protect Remiel Because along the way with all their bickering their heated banter he would catch glimpses to what extent Remiel would go to keep him by his side That as much as it fueled his desperation to stay away from him it equally drew him towards him to find a way to help the both of them Heaven forbid something happens to your precious little lamb I said folding my arms over my chest Whatever will you do with your days I d make Armageddon look like a fucking picnic I blinked at the seriousness of his tone And then as the two of them steadily worked and together to solve the mysteries that were revolving around them I loved how relaxed they were becoming good natured even if there is the under current of latent obsession Phelan wasn t blind any to how much he meant to Remiel in his own twisted demonic frame of thinking he did care for him Are demons so thoughtful I shot him a look out of the corner of my eye unsure if I meant it as a joke or not. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Remiel smirked You mean are demons so paranoid Yes Then why haven t you given me the sight I arched an eyebrow at him You have no need of it he replied blithely Why is that Because I m a demon Because I m not letting you out of mine Their relationship started off in such a backward way from spiteful tormentor and prey to reluctant allies unwitting partners and then finally to kindred spirits who were so very much in love with each other It was just so masterfully done the subtle hints underneath their banter and bickering the constant resistance on both their parts to embrace their feelings paved the way to them just opening up for each other being emotionally invested in securing their safety protecting their own well being it was so beautiful to watch I think He I glanced up at the ceiling pointedly sent you to me I didn t understand it back then I don t know if I really understand it now to be honest But you saw something in me no one else ever did And I love you for that I don t expect you to say anything I just wanted you to know that s what I feel I really appreciated being given a list of warnings before reading because it mentally prepared me for what was to come And while there was plenty of dirty kinky and filthy sexy times I wasn t too remotely perturbed by it Why Because I KNOW this a dark romance with morally grey characters who think that their twisted and warped and depraved version of romance makes sense What I was a little hesitant to venture into was the blasphemous comments that would be mentioned by the demons from Hell but y know it was something I had already heard in other forms of media so it didn t hit me TOO HARD But do be mindful of it if it s a sensitive subject that you would rather not read then please do heed the warnings before picking up this book Embrace it Phelan The way he whispered my name sent a shiver down my spine so full of yearning making him and the feelings inside impossible to discount How could someone so evil make me feel the things I did Things I didn t want to Things I never imagined for myself in a thousand years I hated him and I hated what he did but there was no denying my body s response to him. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Maybe because I really was a demon But y know what I absolutely loved above all else Honestly That despite Remiel s continuous degradation of Phelan s faith despite him goading him continuously with his lack of conviction spurning him to accept that God has abandoned him in the end for the both of them for their relationship to survive to succeed from the evil that was tearing them apart it was God who still brought them together That trajectory that absolute spin it warmed my heart so very much that Phelan even when he accepted who he truly was he didn t let go of his faith and Remiel to embrace it at the end to be blessed by it too it just came all together so perfectly for everyone like a preordained future that had not been set in stone till Remiel and Phelan did actually meet And despite the fact Remiel insisted I was wrong I still believed God had a plan He had to Suffering at the hands of an archdemon finding forgiveness falling in love only the Almighty could have devised such an undertaking because it s not the life I would have ever chosen for myself Not in a million years This review probably doesn t offer an inkling into the plot not even much description to the characters themselves All I can say is that this was an incredible read absolutely fulfilling compelling characters and an absolute joy to read I always appreciate stories when they re written well and this one blew me away Special recognition to Kevin the Goat the much needed comic relief during these scorching times I can t thank Ashlyn Drewek enough for creating this dark world of magic and intrigue and for writing a line that resonated so very well within my core He was too entranced by the real love of his life books 1955211175 Where to start I love the Tennebrose universe that Ashlyn Drewek has created I want to crawl inside this world and live there Morally grey characters are my favorite Add in some possessiveness and enemies to lovers and we have a winning combination The trifecta I take joy in watching witches suffer and you suffer so beautifully Phelan You have tragedy in your blood Phelan is a necromancer who helps the other dark witches summon and trap demons to be killed His familiars are spiders and he can talk to them and they do little favors for him Remiel is a fallen angel a demon He crosses paths with Phelan and is immediately drawn to him and wants to know about him Remial also wants to know why the witches are systematically summoning and killing his lesser demons So Remiel does the most logical thing He kidnaps Phelan and takes him to Hell I was going to make that Necromancer mine in every conceivable way until I corrupted the entirety of his being Phelan wants to be the best necromancer so he has chosen to follow the old ways and be as pious as possible Even though Phelan doesn t think he has any active powers Remiel senses something in him and immediately knows there is to Phelan he just isn t sure what it is yet I was also intrigued by how strong he was He was so much stronger than I d ever known a witch to be yet he kept the power almost completely undetectable It seemed he was full of surprises Phelan is a research librarian at Tennebrose University and a lot of this story revolves around several old grimoires and rare texts Phelan also has a bit of a mysterious family history as his mother was put into a psychiatric hospital when he was a little baby Part of this book is dedicated to figuring out what exactly happened all those years ago as this ties in to what is currently going on with Phelan. Book Igni ferroquelatasa Eventually as they work together Phelan comes to see Remiel in a different light He finds his presence soothing to him and they actually have things in common What started out with distrust and hate has slowly changed into something They have a common goal They are also very attracted to one another Even when Phelan is fighting the urge to sin he can t help but be attracted to Remiel and give into his carnal desires My little blasphemer From now on you have no other god but me My name should be the only thing on those lips Yes Yes I rasped Good Now get on your knees I didn t think you could taste any better lover but you proved me wrong Wickedness suits you The witches in Phelan s own coven think there is something wrong with him and they really do not handle the situation well This moment really opens Phelan s eyes to some things Phelan really goes through it in this book but throughout all of his trials he comes into own and not only realizes his power but also his place in the world It is extremely satisfying to watch him grow and transform A dark smile curled my lips He was utterly beautiful in his sorrow But in his quiet seething rage He was absolutely divine Check out my review on Instagram I received an ARC of this book from Passion Author Services and the author and this is my honest opinion 1955211175 I absolutely loved this I haven t read a dark romance for ages it feels like and this didn t disappoint me This story world already really intrigued me with the first book because I ve never read much about Necromancy before but Phelan just pulled me in with the extremes he was going to so he could prove his worth to his congregation and family. Book Igni ferroquelatasa I may have a massive obsession with Remiel now his aggressiveness and possessiveness were exactly what I love to read in darker characters I want to know that he truly will burn the world down for his love rather than it being something a character says but never really backs up I totally believed Remiel every time he told Phelan how he felt and he did not fail to prove his devotion He was at war with himself his piety clashing with a primal need he didn t yet understand The realization filled me to the brim with excitement I d be his first His last His everything He was mine completely My Phelan My Necromancer A treasure that only I was allowed to admire to touch to find pleasure in No one else He was utterly beautiful in his sorrow But in his quiet seething rage He was absolutely divine He was trying to take you away from me so yes he did deserve to die You Phelan Oliver are mine Until the end of days Phelan was totally clueless about what he meant to Remiel though for the majority of the book but I think that actually made me love Remiel and his insecurities so much because he was constantly telling Phelan exactly what he meant to him in his own way If I ruined him no one else would want him except me Then maybe I wouldn t have to fight so hard for his affection he d give it willingly grateful to have any at all The plot itself was really engaging and I loved all the twists and the way the information unravelled and came together because the outcome wasn t anything I was expecting I really didn t want to put the book down to go to sleep which is always a good sign for me especially when a book features my own arch nemesis the arachnid I m pretty sure Phelan and Remiel just barged their way into my favourite couples list and I really hope there s to come in this story world because I ve loved everything about it so far 1955211175 i absolutely love the whole set up of this world but i feel like the plotlines themselves need to be tied up way quicker i felt the same way about the plot in book 1 this just kept going on and on and on i got bored and wanted it all to be tied up already the relationship between the mcs was sadly disappointing overall for me too the development just wasn t convincing enough for me considering their whole relationship started out with them being enemies kidnapping imprisonment torture sexual assault etc i just don t see how when or where it turned into love i didn t particularly care about or like either of the mcs which made it very difficult to root for them individually or as a couple 1955211175
